So good to have Digger back where he belongs.
Most of the bullshit is over and done...
I can't say any more - but what a relief.
Thanks for bearing with me.

Yay! Congrats. Now stay out of trouble, you two.
No more visits to the 7-11: A known hang-out for police and other miscreants.
.
Indeed, Cosa...
He's here with his daughter now. They are both asleep in the living room. So great to see them together. Bawling my eyes out with joy for a change.

Kewl. Hey, whatever he did to get busted before, don't ever do it again! Any future busts will be stacked up on top of the old ones, and it'll be much harder to get him out of trouble: Once they've got you on their radar, you're what's for dinner.
Their radar is far-reaching: Cops here ride around with laptops open in the cruisers, randomly running people's plates & drivers licenses. Everything shows up now: Old traffic warrants, criminal convictions, etc. You really have to be careful once they've got your name. So be good!
.
I am glad for the both of you
Thanks Ur-Spo and Cosa.
They do the same thing here, Cosa.
There was an old domestic relations warrant on the books - which was satisfied years ago - but the fine still had to be paid - and a parole violation in another county - which he was held on a detainer for.
I was very nervous about the detainer - it seems once you're held on one of those, they can hold you indefinitely... like forever if they want. That's why I got him a lawyer who made it very clear to the court that we were going to pay the fines for him.

Yeah. Smart move. Ain't it amazin' how a li'l dough will grease their wheels? Scumbags.
Is it any surprise that most of the people in jail are poor, and that the biggest criminals roaming free are rich?
Helluva system. Come the Revolution, boy...!

Money Makes The World Go Around...
so they say.
What a mess...
